We’ve all been there: You’re in a rush, then discover the garment you want to wear is wrinkled. Ironing takes too long, but selecting another outfit takes even longer. No worries! With these 6  brilliant tips you won’t need the iron at all.

1 The Shower
Have you discovered the wrinkle in time? Then, take your wrinkled garment and hang it in the bathroom while you take a shower. The heat and steam from the shower will help loosen the wrinkles so they (partially) disappear. Note: the steam from the kettle or your cup of tea will produce a similar result.

2 The Towel
Place your garment on a flat surface such as a table. Take a damp towel and put it on top of the garment. Gently press down on the towel and smooth out the wrinkled area. Leave it for a while. This method does take a little longer, but is highly effective.

3 The Hair Dryer
The hair dryer is not only indispensable when it comes to styling your hair. It’s also very adept at smoothing out the wrinkle you just discovered. Here’s how: simply, hang your garment on a hanger, and blow dry it. Hold the hair dryer an inch or two from the item - be careful not to burn it. Tip: this method works best if the garment is slightly damp.

4 The Flat Iron
This is brilliant! The flat iron is practically the same as an iron, but with two surfaces (pay particular attention to the heat!). With the flat iron, you can quickly and easily smooth out the wrinkles that appear around the edges of your clothing.

5 The Dryer
This may sound a bit weird, but it really works! Place the wrinkled garments into the dryer with some ice cubes and run the dryer on a high heat for a few minutes (check first whether or not the garment is suitable for the dryer). The melted ice produces steam which will smooth out the wrinkles

6 Wrinkle-removing spray
Yes, this really exists. The wrinkle-removing spray is probably the fastest way to smooth out the wrinkles in your clothing. It’s available in a number of household stores, supermarkets and, of course… online!
