Do’s and don’ts for an athletic-shaped body

Athletic women are skinny, sexy and tight but don’t have a lot of waist. For a body shape it looks a lot like the rectangle but it differs in the shoulders. The rectangle-shaped body has wide shoulders, straight hips and a skinny, sporty body. With an athletic body shape you preferable don’t want to look like a body builder but rather accentuate your feminine assets. You can achieve this with the right clothing!

Many women are often jealous of athletic body shapes. They usually are slim, tight and can pull of almost all type of clothing. Sadly this is not always the case. Also skinny and tight body shapes can have issues with certain items. Their shoulders can be wider than the hips and catches the attention, instead of their long lean legs.

To create a more balanced figure it is important to accentuate the legs and other feminine curves. So go for clothes that divert the attention from your shoulders like tops with a round neck.

Besides that we advise you to put focus on your legs by choosing trousers with prints, details and colourful washes. For a change, try on some lighter jeans instead of the darker ones. As for the style, a good choice would be a legging. If you prefer a darker version choose a darker colour instead of a lighter top.

A boyfriend fit is also a very good idea, this elongates your upper body.
