Warm Up to Autumn with a Pumpkin Spice Latte
As the leaves fall and temperatures drop, there's nothing that embodies the cozy atmosphere of autumn better than a warm, creamy Pumpkin Spice Latte. Treat yourself to this delightful beverage during cool autumn mornings or cozy evenings by the fireplace. 

Pumpkin Spice Latte

  • 1 cup of freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree (you can buy this ready-made or make your own)
  • 1 cup of milk (you can use regular milk, almond milk, or soy milk)
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice (a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves)
  • Whipped cream
  • Pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon powder for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Start by brewing a cup of espresso or strong coffee.

  2. In a saucepan, warm the milk over medium heat. Add the pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice. Stir well until everything is well combined and the milk is hot but not boiling.

  3. Pour the hot milk and pumpkin mixture into a large mug.

  4. Pour the espresso or strong coffee into the mug and stir well to combine everything.

  5. Top the Pumpkin Spice Latte with a dollop of whipped cream.

  6. Sprinkle a pinch of pumpkin pie spice and a dash of cinnamon powder on top of the whipped cream for garnish.
